A showdown looms between the GOP-controlled Senate and House majority Democrats over Medicaid expansion. The upper chamber is poised to approve a state budget bill on Thursday that the Senate Finance amended by removing Medicaid expansion from the House-approved version. The legislature has until June 30 to resolve their differences.
